Dealing with violent extremism, radicalization and the consequences of violent conflict is not only a humanitarian imperative, dealing with the economic, emotional, physical and political consequences are also important because it decreases the risk of the conflict breaking out again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conflict transformation experts have maintained that dealing with the consequences of violence is the major chance of \u2018breaking the conflict trap\u2019. However, it is difficult to imagine peacebuilding in the midst of glaring crisis of whichever kind. Besides the \u2018normal\u2019 crisis societies experience after violent conflict, peace building is even a greater challenge when other crisis situations come into play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Societies in conflict situations experience other crisis situations like Food Scarcity and lack of medical care, loss of livelihood assets, insecurity and violence, structural inequality, between identity groups and sexes, social and political exclusion..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Young Peace Builders, we believe that peacebuilding is\u00a0NOT<\/strong>\u00a0an event that can only happen after conflict as many might think.\u00a0We are of the firm belief that peacebuilding and community development is\u00a0 a process that\u00a0continues before, during and after conflicts.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conflicts can be prevented, managed and resolved but over the years so much investment has been targeted at resolving instead of prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advocacy<\/strong> is an integral component of our daily work. This is geared towards education and awareness raising about Human Rights, the tools and the roles and responsibilities of the people and the power of advocacy, whiles also seeking possible means to make the necessary changes that are required to make life better for young people and the different communities. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The organization has been engaged in many advocacy activities and has influenced a number of policy decision making processes for youth empowerment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every of our advocacy activity seek to promote human dignity, human rights, Peace, Community development and\u00a0fight against corruption at all levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
